Leaves are changing color, schools are back in session, and suitcases are being packed with comfortable shoes and business casual attire. It’s conference season!

Commercial Observer recently published an article looking into the necessity of hosting conferences. Conference season is an important and busy time for our team. It’s an opportunity to meet with current and prospective customers and be able to demo our engineering grade AR™ headset, the Atom™, live and in person. And as we’ve stated before, seeing is believing.

The Atom was designed so that it can be worn on active construction sites, which is a much different environment compared to the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago where Procore is hosting its annual Groundbreak conference on September 19-20. The challenge for us as a Marketing team is to create an experience for construction professionals and asset owners that demonstrates the value of engineering grade AR that you’d find on an active construction site.

If you’re attending Groundbreak or another construction technology event this fall, what you’ll get when you visit an XYZ booth is an immersive experience that allows you to see firsthand what it’s like to build from holograms using the Atom and our AR technology.

“It’d be great to be able to use this technology on all our sites.” Gary Marshall, Civil Engineering Partner, Cundall

We designed our booth to mimic aspects of a live construction site to allow visitors to truly experience the impact of using AR during the build phase of construction.

Augmented reality brings the 3D model to life, projecting a digital visualization of a building onto an active construction site with engineering grade precision. This level of detail produces objective information that can be actioned immediately. For example, project controls teams can update costs and schedules as needed if the model projected onto the job site shows an electrical duct where one has yet to be installed.

With XYZ access to the information on a job site is instant and accurate. We invite you to come and experience it for yourself. Our team will be at Groundbreak (booth 401), Autodesk University (booth 1036), and DCD Connect London this conference season. So leave your next event with an experience you’ll remember!

Not going to Groundbreak? No worries. You can always connect with someone from XYZ Reality here.
